Graves Hume Public Library

September 12, 2024

  1. The Board of Trustees of the Graves Hume Public Library met at 7:00 pm. Board members physically present were Martha Schmitt, Cheri Chandler, Catherine Wasmer, Kim Abel, and Library Director Emily Kofoid. Adriana Calamaco was present online.
  2. Ms Chandler moved we accept the August board minutes. Seconded by Ms Wasmer. Motion approved.
  3. Ms Wasmer moved we approve the August Financial Position & Activity Report. Seconded by Ms. Abel. Motion approved.
  4. Ms Wasmer moved we approve the August Check Registry. Seconded by Ms Chandler. Motion approved.
  5. Correspondence: none
  6. Director’s Report:
    1. *Illinois Library Conference in Peoria, some staff will be attending. Two Horizon
  7. House clients volunteer on Mondays.
  8. No Committee Reports
  9. Old Business:
    1. *Ms Wasmer moved we accept the Budget and Appropriations 09122024. Seconded by Ms Chandler. Motion approved.
  10. New Business:
    1. *Ms Rogers and Ms Calamaco are running for 4-year terms on board.
  11. No Closed Session. No visitors were present.
  12. Ms Wasmer moved meeting adjourn at 7:35pm. Seconded by Ms Chandler. Motion approved.
