October 10,2024

  1. The Board of Trustees of the Graves Hume Public Library met at 7:00 pm. Board members physically present were Nancy Jackson, Deb Rogers, Martha Schmitt, Catherine Wasmer, Kim Abel, and Library Director Emily Kofoid. Adriana Calamaco was present online.
  2. Ms Wasmer moved we accept the September board minutes as corrected. Seconded by Ms Rogers. Motion approved.
  3. Ms Jackson moved we approve the September Financial Position & Activity Report. Seconded by Ms. Wasmer. Motion approved.
  4. Ms Abel moved we approve the September Check Registry. Seconded by Ms Wasmer. Motion approved.
  5. Correspondence: none
  6. Director’s Report:
    1. *Illinois Library Conference was fabulous. Staff will receive summaries of sessions other people attended.
  7. No Committee Reports
  8. Old Business:
    1. *Ms Wasmer moved we accept Tax Levy Ordinance 10102024. Seconded by Ms Rogers. Motion approved.
  9. New Business: none
  10. No Closed Session. No visitors were present.
  11. Ms Wasmer moved meeting adjourn at 7:37pm. Seconded by Ms Jackson. Motion approved.
